The Muscle pain that shows up a day or two after exercising can affect anyone, no matter how high your fitness level is.
But don't be put off working out because muscle soreness, stiffness and achenes is normal.
it doesn't last long, and is actually a sign of your fitness improving.
Anyone can develop Muscle soreness, stiffness and achenes these symptoms are referred to as DOMS.
even people who have been exercising for years, including elite athletes.
It can be scary for people who are new to exercise, and it may affect your enthusiasm to get fit.
The good news is that the pain will decrease as your muscles get used to the new physical workouts that challenge them.
The DOMS is part of an adaptation process that leads to greater stamina and strength as the muscles recover and build.
Unless you push yourself hard, you're unlikely to develop Any soreness after your next exercise session.
Soreness can last between three and five days.
The pain can change from mild to severe, usually happens one or two days after the exercise.
This sort of muscle pain shouldn't be confused with any other kind of pain you might experience during exercise, such as the sudden and sharp pain of an injury, or muscle strains or sprains.
They is nothing much that you can do to treat DOMS
Treatments such as ice packs, massage, anti-inflammatory drugs (such as aspirin or ibuprofen), and rest may help ease some of the pain but not to a 100% satisfaction.
You can exercise with DOMS but it may feel uncomfortable, especially through the warm-up part of Your workout.
you may find the pain goes away during the session, but returns after exercising when your muscles have cooled down.
If the pain makes it hard to exercise, i would advise you to not do the activity for a few days until the pain eases up as an Alternative you could focus on exercises targeting less affected muscles to allow the most affected muscle groups time to recover.
